My Earliest Memories of My Father, Domenico

I was born on August 12th, 1967, at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. But before I continue, I must ask you to bear in mind that the events I’m going to impart to you in this chapter, and certain ones that follow, took place at a time without internet, cellphones, or digital cameras. All I have is my memory, and the moments that usually stick in one’s mind from such a young age are associated with trauma.
